Tried out the new Voxel feature in Mandelbulb 3D 1.754 beta.
Imported into Omen as PNG layers.
Exported from Omen and imported into MCedit and then saved.
Opened in Minecraft.

Unfortunately it doesn't bring with it colors. I guess that's something you'll have to add afterwards.

I knew I was missing something in minecraft :)
I've taken your I28 fractal (the one I created the animation of months ago), and
created an obj in fiji after a voxel export, and imported into cinema4d using gi and hdri.
Wonderful results. I of course will be mentioning you in any final render that I do with it,
and sending you a note with a link to it.

Thanks. I tried using fiji too, but by meager 4 GB of RAM wasn't enough to create anything with sufficient details. I lot of mandelbulbs are symmetrical so one could probably get away with only rendering half of it and then mirroring the mesh. Anyway...

The pixelated look disturbs, we to wait for a more precise and stable png export routine :)

The fault doesn't lie in the export routine. That blocky pixelated look is from the game. That's just how it looks. It's kind of like LEGO. :)
